About the Journal

The Journal of Islamic Microfinance and MSMEs (JIMM) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by Indonesian Academy of Social & Religious Research (IASRR). The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarship on Islamic microfinance and the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from a sharia perspective.

JIMM provides a platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to share original research that strengthens both the theory and practice of Islamic finance at the grassroots level. The journal welcomes empirical, conceptual, and policy-oriented studies from Indonesia as well as from other Muslim-majority and Muslim-minority countries, encouraging comparative perspectives that enrich global discourse on Islamic economic empowerment.
